Prix ANDJIGA–DIFFO–MOULEN (PADM)

Le Prix ANDJIGA–DIFFO–MOULEN, décerné par l’ERMASS, a pour mission de :

  • Promouvoir la recherche fondamentale et l’application pratique des mathématiques face aux défis sociaux urgents en Afrique.
  • Reconnaître et encourager les contributions exceptionnelles en matière de recherche et d’appui au développement.

🏅 Catégories

  • Prix du Meilleur Article : récompense un article innovant dans la résolution des problèmes de la société et publié dans une revue scientifique reconnue.
  • Prix Honorifique : distingue un(e) chercheur(e) de haut niveau qui a apporté une contribution durable et transformatrice aux mathématiques appliquées.

📅 Processus de Sélection

  • Géré par un comité indépendant nommé par l’ERMASS.
  • Appel à candidatures lancé 3 mois avant la rencontre annuelle.
  • Ouvert à tout(e) enseignant(e)/chercheur(e) basé(e) au Cameroun, en service ou en retraite.
  • ERMASS peut nominer un candidat ayant un parcours exceptionnel pour la deuxième catégorie du prix.

🎓 Remise du Prix

Les lauréats sont annoncés avant la rencontre annuelle d'ERMASS. Ils ou elles reçoivent une plaque d'excellence et une récompense de toute autre nature, et présentent leurs travaux en séance plénière.

ANDJIGA–DIFFO–MOULEN Prize (ADMP)

The ANDJIGA–DIFFO–MOULEN Prize, awarded by ERMASS, aims to:

  • Promote fundamental research and the practical application of mathematics to address urgent social challenges in Africa.
  • Recognize and encourage outstanding contributions in research and development support.

🏅 Award Categories

  • Best Article Award: recognizes an innovative paper on solving societal problems that has been published in a prestigious peer-reviewed journal.
  • Honorary Award: honors a high-level researcher who has made a lasting and transformative contribution to the field of applied mathematics.

📅 Selection Process

  • Managed by an independent committee appointed by ERMASS.
  • Call for nominations issued 3 months before the annual meeting.
  • Open to any professor or researcher based in Cameroon, whether currently serving or retired.
  • ERMASS may nominate a candidate with an exceptional track record for the second category of the award.

🎓 Award Ceremony

Winners are announced ahead of the ERMASS annual meeting. They receive a plaque of excellence and an additional reward, and present their work during a plenary session.

À l’occasion du Prix ANDJIGA–DIFFO–MOULEN, une conférence scientifique internationale sera organisée du 3 au 5 août 2026 à l’École Normale Supérieure de Yaoundé.
On the occasion of the ANDJIGA–DIFFO–MOULEN Prize, an international scientific conference will be held from August 3 to 5, 2026, at the École Normale Supérieure of Yaoundé.
